Area of application

WPC surfaces (Wood-Plastic-Composites) such as decking on balconies, terraces or paths as well as blinds elements or furniture.

Practice

WPC Maintenance Oil must never be applied on top of dirt and oil deposits, since this would render the wood very dark and over time completely black. Clean the surface therefore thoroughly first using WPC Cleaner, removing stubborn stains if need be with fine sandpaper and clean again with the cleaner so as to remove dust completely from all pores. The surface must be free from dust and grease. Let dry thoroughly. Apply MELLERUD WPC maintenance oil with a brush or cloth evenly as a very fine film onto the surface. Work in direction of the grain. Remove excess oil after 10 minutes with an absorbent cloth. Leave to dry for at least 24 hours protected from the weather. Repeat this treatment if the effects are wearing off.
