Intensive cleaner for all grey weathered hardwood surfaces. Adheres well and is thixotropic. Quickly bleaches and restores all grey weathered wood surfaces. Woods regain their natural colour.
Terracing, pergolas, pavilions, ships' planking, landing stages, footbridges and all types of garden furniture such as tables, chairs, hardwood benches, e.g. of afzelia, afrormosia, Douglas fir, oak, idigbo, ilomba, iroko, jatoba, kaori ,larch, makoré, meranti, Oregon pine, radiata pine, red cedar, red narra, redwood, acacia, sapele, sipo or teak; especially suitable for bangkirai.
SLoosen dust or coarse dirt from the surface with a brush or a soft cloth. Apply the product generously to the surface with a brush, and allow to work in for at least 10 minutes. Finally, using an abrasive pad or fabric, such as a sponge with a white pad, work along the direction of the grain with the remaining product. Clean the abrasive pad repeatedly with water. After cleaning, rinse the surface well with water for example by spraying with a garden hose. If dirt is extremely stubborn, repeat the treatment and allow the cleaner longer to work in. After drying, re-treat the wood surface, e.g. withVM All-Weather Protection or VM Teak oil
Protect sensitive adjacent surfaces from overspray for example by covering with plastic sheeting. Never use a high-pressure cleaner or coarse sandpaper, as this will roughen the surface, the natural wax and oil components will be exposed to the surface and weather, and the wood will become more sensitive to dirt and moisture. For the removal of spots and discolouration and to achieve a smooth surface, rub down the wood by hand with a very fine-grain glass-paper (400 grade). Machine sanding can cause heat giving rise to black patches. Remove the sanding dust with a soft cloth.
