For the treatment of absorbent clay surfaces. Repels water and dirt and protects surfaces from salt efflorescence , incrustations and green tarnish. Long-term protection – optimal before first use. Can be applied later. Does not change the color tone.
Absorbent surfaces made of Cotto, terracotta, unglazed clay. For flower pots, flower containers, vases, statues, sculptures, fountains, tiles, etc.
1. Before first use: Apply evenly using a roller or brush to the dry surface. Treat flower pots inside and out. Apply a second coat after 2 minutes. Apply enough to saturate the surface, but do not use too much. Otherwise, the surface looks uneven and spotty. The container can be planted after 24 hours and/or the sculpture can be placed outside. 2. Impregnation of used containers Clean the containers using MELLERUD Terracotta Cleaner. Remove all dirt. Wash off with plenty of water and let dry. Then waterproof as described above. You can also clean the outside of planted containers and waterproof them without damaging the plants. Plants should not have any contact with MELLERUD Terracotta Waterproofing.
