From April 2011 the new MELLERUD Bio range
The new MELLERUD Bio range includes 18 highly effective special cleaners for home and garden. They are superior to the standard range of universal cleaning products and are kind to materials and the environment. The launch of MELLERUD Bio starts now! We are working on bringing MELLERUD Bio to your vicinity very soon. It will only take some days till the products are available in Germany. Within the next days we will provide you with further information where exactly the eco range will be available.
Developing effective and environmentally friendly cleaning and care products is a core part of our company philosophy. It has been our aim for a long time as well to develop alternative eco products to add to our well-known and highly effective range of special cleaning and care products. Since an effective eco solution does not exist for every cleaning and care problem, we have researched what is feasible based on the premise “effectiveness with eco formulations”. We have successfully tested the effectiveness of MELLERUD Bio products in a large series of tests in our laboratory. A large number of consumers also contributed many valuable tips for further development of the MELLERUD Bio range before market launch.

Richtig lüften: Von Beginn an vorbeugen
Schimmel von Anfang an vorbeugen macht in jedem Fall Sinn und ist leicht im Alltag umzusetzen. Zum Beispiel Lüften hat vor allem ein Ziel: die warme und feuchte Raumluft durch trockene, kühle Außenluft zu ersetzen. Je kälter die Luft, desto besser. Deshalb ist es selbst an kühlen Regentagen sinnvoll zu lüften, während an heißen Sommertagen der Effekt eher gering ist. Ideal ist die Stoßlüftung: Dazu Heizung aus, Fenster komplett öffnen und 5 bis 10 Minuten durchlüften. Viel frische Luft ist besonders nach dem Kochen und Duschen wichtig sowie am Morgen im Schlafzimmer, wenn man nachts mit geschlossenen Fenstern schläft.

The Bio assortment criteria
- MELLERUD Bio products are free of formaldehyde, phosphates and chlorine and are manufactured without any use of colourants and without resorting to the use of not easily biodegradable complexing agents.
- Only naturally occurring acids, salts, waxes and oils are used in the formulations.
- Bio-alcohol is used in place of synthetic solvents.
- All surfactants used are 100%-based on renewable raw materials.
- If aromatic substances are required, only natural perfumed oils or aromatics that comply with Öko-Test (German ecological consumer magazine) criteria are used.
- As a matter of course, all packaging materials are 100% recyclable and all surfactants used are easily, quickly and completely biodegradable.
