Tiles, marble and natural stone

Can the stone sealing be used on polished granite or stoneware?

No, the sealing cannot take hold due to the low level of absorbency. Waterproofing is recommended for these stones.

How is the equipment cleaned after use?

With solution-based brush cleaner, cleaning solution or similar.

When can the treated surface be walked upon again?

After it has dried completely. After 2-4 hours depending on the ambient temperature.

Should a polished stone tile be waterproofed?

Yes, this treatment is absolutely necessary. Polishing creates microfine pores on the tile surface. This is why polished stoneware is highly sensitive to stains.

How can the stone sealing be removed once more, e.g., in case of non-conventional application?

The layer can be removed with a solvent-based paint remover.

What is the intensive difference between the intensive basic cleaner compared to the basic tile and stone cleaner?

The intensive basic cleaner is an alkaline cleaner that removes grease, oil, rust and old preservative layers particularly well. The basic tile and stone cleaner is an acid cleaner, which easily removes rust, stains and small amounts of cement residue.

What can I use to clean my tiles before they are sealed or waterproofed?

We recommend the intensive basic cleaner for cleaning sealings, waterproofings or the application of gloss films.

On what is the sealing, waterproofing or the colour intensifier applied?

Application takes place on smaller surfaces with a brush and a foam roller can be used on larger surfaces.

How is discolouration, e.g., by tea, coffee or red wine removed on natural stone or stoneware?

By using the mould destroyer. Discolouration is removed by the bleaching effect.
