MELLERUD especially makes sure that e.g. tenside is on the basis of renewable raw materials and unobjectionable ingredients. Responsible practices with natural resources protect and preserve the environment. Biologically degradable or environment-friendly raw materials are always first choice at MELLERUD. All of our products conform with European requirements for detergents and cleaners.

Environmental protection is also a main focus in the conceptualization of our products. MELLERUD is founding member of DSD, Dualen System Deutschland. And of course, our products bear the green dot for optimal disposal. All of the packaging material used is recyclable. The space-saving, compact form of our child-proof bottles create yet another economical, material-saving aspect of our products in packaging as well as transport.
We are also committed to sustainability with regard to the printing of our material. Since 2010 our printed media have been produced carbon neutrally. That means the emissions generated by printing are offset with contributions made to approved climate protection projects, thereby making the printing process climate neutral. Our voluntary contribution to climate protection was certified by NatureOffice at the end of 2011.
