COMPANY HISTORY


Company History

The Swedish village of Mellerud, on the coast of the Swedish Sea, inspired the name of our company. It was here that in the 1970’s the first business contacts with regards to cleaning and care agents were made. On June 24 1981 the MELLERUD company was founded - its legal form being private limited company (GmbH).

The end of the 70s early 80s, marked the advent of the so-called DIY industry (Do It Yourself). The product range named after our company, MELLERUD, was formed in 1983.

In the meantime, MELLERUD has developed into a BRAND NAME. More and more consumers rely on the white bottle with the red logo.
